If you are wondering, What is Nvidia Shield Pro?
Nvidia Shield Pro is a set-top box from Nvidia with gaming features. It comes in three variants: the 16 GB, 500 GB, and 1000 GB models. All three versions use Android TV software but vary by hardware specifications that affect performance such as graphics rendering capability, CPU processing power, memory bandwidth support, Bluetooth connectivity availability, Dolby Digital Plus audio decoding capabilities, networking interface options, and more.
WhatsApp is always been a great source of communication for many. But the one feature it is lacking was multi-device support. In a recent interview with WebetaInfo, Mark Zuckerberg and the team confirmed they are rolling out new features very soon. Including allowing users to use their account on 4 different devices, even when their phone is not connected to the internet.
How is this different from the current WhatsApp feature?
Currently, you can log in to your web WhatsApp on your laptop while using it on your phone. But the catch here is, the phone that you created WhatsApp account should always be connected to the internet. This is really frustrating for many users including me. But with this latest feature users do not need a device connected to the internet in order to use it on multiple platforms. Confirming this Mark Zuckerberg mentioned, “It was always been a challenging task to sync all messages across multiple platforms for all Facebook applications. But the team managed to find an elegant solution to eliminate this limitation.“
With this new feature, there is a hope for new iPad WhatsApp application that can handle on its own. “We love to support WhatsApp on iPad and this update is going to help us achieve that.” is what the team from Facebook meant in their recent interview. WhatsApp is used to send messages and respond privately. Group calls now support WhatsApp and improved wifi calling features.
There are also a bunch of other features coming soon including, “Disappearing messages” that will enable disappearing messages to all chat threads at once. Similar to Snap and Instagram, there will be a “View Once” for photos and videos which will let users send one-time visible content. Currently, you can access WhatsApp on the web, and later this year you will be able to access it on iPad and 4 more devices at once.
