How to enable location services?
- Open Settings
- Select “Privacy”, then tap on “Location Services.”

How to send or share location on iPhone using Messages?
- Open a conversation with the person to whom you want to send your location.
- Tap on the icon for the person you are chatting with.
- Tap on the info icon, then choose the kind of location sharing
- To send your present location, select “Send My Current Location.”
- If you want to share your location for a period of time, tap on “Share My Location,” afterward choose how long you want your location to be available – an hour/for the rest of the day/forever.
- Tap on “Done.”
How to share your location with a contact?
- Open Contacts
- Locate the contact you want to share with
- Select “Share My Location”, then choose how long you want the location to be available.
How to share your location using Google Maps?
- Open Google Maps.
- Click on the blue dot, it indicates your location
- Select “Share your location.”
- Choose how long the location has to be shared. You can increase the time to three days. OR use “Until you turn this off.”
- Tap on “Select People.”
- Tap on each person in your contact list who you want to send. Tap on the downward arrow to choose an email address/phone number to contact them.
- When you’re done, tap on “Share”
