What are Read receipts?
These are small notifications that allow users to know when you’ve opened up the messaging app and looked at the message. - Scroll down, then tap on Messages
- Scroll down, then toggle the Send Read Receipts on or off
- Tap on Done

- Click on Preferences
- After the window appears, click on Messages
- Here, Check or uncheck Send read receipts toward the bottom
- Exit this Preferences window
