How to transfer contacts from Android to Apple iPhone
Transfer contacts via ‘Move to iOS’
This method is Apple’s own app called ‘Move to iOS’. You can download the first-party service on Google Play store for free and use it to transfer videos, photos contacts and more.
1. Once ‘Move to iOS’ is installed, accept all the required permissions for the app.
2. After that you will be asked to Find Your Code. Click on Continue. From your iPhone, follow through the Setup Assistant until Move Data from Android option is visible.
3. Enter the six or ten-digit code from the iPhone in the Android. A Transfer Data screen will pop up, with a catalogue of items you can copy over to your iPhone. If you’re just moving your contacts, select the respective bullet. If you want to move all of your files and data, select everything.
4. Leave your Android and iPhone untouched while the transfer process is taking place. Depending on how much you’re transferring from phone to phone, it may take as long as 30 minutes.
