When can you pre-order Apple Watch 7?

Today is the iPhone 13 pre-order day, however, there are no signs of the Apple Watch 7 on the list of new devices you can buy ahead of release. When can you pre-order Apple Watch 7, more importantly, can you even Pre-order it right now?

Most of the tech Apple showed off at its September 14 event are currently to be pre-orderable, like the iPhone 13 line as well as the new iPad 10.2 (2021) and iPad Mini (2021). The only product shown off but can’t put your money down for is the company’s new smartwatch.

Pre-order Apple Watch 7 during fall of 2021

Why is this you ask? Well, simply put the Apple Watch 7 release date hasn’t been confirmed. While all those other listed products received a September 24 as their release date, the Apple wearable is known to be coming “later this fall” as per Apple. 

We might probably hear more about the Apple Watch later in the year, perhaps around October because any further delay would cause the launch to coincide with the season of savings, and Apple Watch Black Friday deals might tempt too many people away from the new product. 

We don’t know for sure what is causing this delay, but rumors before the launch event suggest that Apple was facing some serious production issues. Apparently, the slight differences between the new wearable and the Apple Watch 6 caused some hiccups in the production process, which is understandable when you take all the worldly issues into consideration on top of the pandemic.

As of this writing, no pre-release date has been announced for the Apple Watch 7, as the official site says “Available later this year”.
