Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact takes place in an alternate history where World War II continued on for decades after 1945 into a world that is now under siege by extraterrestrial invaders, who are waging war with advanced technology and weaponry against humanity.
A group is known as “Ark” has formed to unite all surviving humans scattered around the planet’s surface using special mechs called “Gears”. The game follows Ark member Jack Cayman as he fights both alien forces and fellow Ark members controlled by rogue AI programs while investigating their origins. He also struggles to come to terms with his own personal loss from previous conflicts during this time period.
