I understand all the benefits you enjoy about Planet Fitness, and I’m sure you understand how beneficial it is to be an active member. I’m also a member, albeit a light one. To be honest, I don’t use the service very often. Still, rather than canceling my membership, I decided to keep it around. It’s not because I like Planet Fitness that I’m hesitant to cancel my membership; it’s only a headache to go through the Planet Fitness cancellation process.

We never want our cancellation process to cause our members any distress and seek to be as transparent as possible regarding it. Cancellations can be done in person at the club you’re a member of or by sending a signed letter to your home club.
No need to make it certified, simply putting a letter in the mail would suffice. If you would like to have a delivery confirmation of your letter, you are welcome to send it as certified mail. We do this as we require a signature in order to cancel.

How to cancel a Planet fitness subscription?
While we hate to see you cancel your membership, if your club is open, you can send a letter to your home club requesting to cancel, or you can stop by your home club and cancel in person. A certified letter may be required, which will provide you confirmation your letter was received, but please contact your home club to confirm the cancellation policy. If your club is still closed, or you have other questions, please contact our member services department. Please note that the Member Services department is open Monday through Friday from 9 am – 6 pm, EST. They will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.

You’re probably thinking, “Am I applying for a new driver’s license?” This is the real procedure for canceling your subscription in 2021 when we intend to settle on Mars. Other than canceling, they have on their website something exciting other than upgrading your current subscription by entering some basic data.
It’s difficult to see all of the great features in their app, such as busy periods, simple training advice, and even a barcode you can scan within the app. However, they never considered adding a Cancel Subscription button. After doing some research online, we understood that there is no legit reason for them to do this other than cash on the human tendency to not go through hectic processes to complete something simple.
There might be a variety of causes for you to cancel a subscription or any service. With all the progress we see every day, it’s an easy service we can give to clients on how to quit their service without stress. We adore Planet Fitness’ services, and we would like to see the option of canceling a membership through their app, website, or even over the phone.
