David Schwimmer responds to rumors that he’s dating Jennifer Aniston. Friend fans got a reason to freak out when tabloid Closer reported the co-stars, who are both single and spoke about having crushes on each other during the show, were dating. After that report came out, Schwimmer’s reps denied it., The public relations firm DeuxMoi, which runs celebrity gossip submissions it receives but does not verify, shut down the claim too And Us Weekly ran its own report about what Aniston looks for in a partner as she is still single.
British tabloid Closer reported Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are dating. Here’s what they published yesterday, “After the [Friends] reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there. They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.”
Also, they mentioned, “They’ve been spending time at Jen’s home, where she’s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing. They were also spotted drinking wine, deep in conversation, as they walked around one of Jen’s favorite vineyards in Santa Barbara, where it was clear there was lots of chemistry between them.”
Finally, David Schwimmer responds to the rumors and clears the air
But, clearing all rumors airing online for the past 24 hours, DeuxMoi finally commented saying “I forgot to add I have it on VERY good authority that this is not true.”
On last night’s “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, Jennifer Aniston was asked about her relationship status, and she said that she is single but not ready to date yet. This means for the time being, at least, there won’t be any reports of a Friends reunion or co-stars dating each other.
When Closer magazine reported this morning that actors who are married in real life were dating – specifically naming Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer from friends as an example – people freaked out because it all seemed too good to be true. But then DeuxMoi responded by stating “on VERY GOOD authority” that the rumors weren’t true and Schwimmer’s reps denied it.
A little insight on FRIENDS TV Show:
The Friends TV show is a popular sitcom. The series revolves around six friends, Monica Geller, Chandler Bing, Joey Tribbiani, Phoebe Buffay, and their Central Perk co-worker Rachel Green who live in Manhattan. This was the first TV show to be shot with three cameras at once for better angles and more coverage of all the actors which later became an industry standard throughout television production today.
Each episode includes one or two major storylines plus several minor plots that are developed through dialogues between characters or thoughts from inside a character’s head. These episodes focus on issues related to everyday life such as relationships (love triangles), career choices, problems with parenting (especially new parents) marriage hardships, and family dilemmas.
The show premiered on September 22, 1994, and the last episode aired on May 18th, 2004 with a total of 236 episodes which is considered one of the longest-running comedies in TV history. The final season was shorter since most actors had already agreed to enter into individual contracts that would give them more money per episode for five seasons than if they signed up for six years at once as their original contract stipulated.
Friends have been ranked by various sources as one of the best TV shows ever made: it ranks number twenty-five out of 100 Television Shows of All Time in AOL’s list; television critic Tom Shales says Friends “will be remembered as perhaps [television’s] crowning achievement.” In 1997, following the success of the series, NBC began airing a spin-off sitcom called Joey.
