Quibi is where everyone understood people only love YouTube on mobiles:
Quibi has failed to live up to the hype, and it’s not clear as to why. From a marketing perspective, Quibi spent $4 million on advertising in just one week after its launch. But even with this aggressive campaign, they weren’t able to get enough viewers for their shows or subscribers for their service.
There have been many theories as to why Quibi is failing – from the lack of content variety available, poor quality of programming, high pricing point relative to competitors like Netflix and Hulu, or low customer satisfaction rates – but there hasn’t been any conclusive evidence that we can point to as the reason behind Quibi’s failure.
