PS5 has already established itself as “The Gaming Console”, dwarfing its rival’s in terms of speed and performance. But, for me and a lot of other gamers, the biggest upgrade in the new PlayStation is its insane backward compatibility. 4000+ PS4 games are now compatible with the PS5, I am going to list a few of these games that are worth trying.
The first one in the PS4 list
Insomniac’s “Spider-Man”
Back in 2018 when Insomniac dropped the Spider-Man game, it was met with raving reviews. Often touted as one of the greatest PS4 games of this decade, Spider-Man has certainly lived up to its reputation. Zip Lining through the streets of New York punishing bad guys and saving the day has left gamers awestruck and left them hugging their consoles all night long. The performance and quality of this game will be that much better on PS5. I would certainly recommend giving this game a try.

Second one in the list : The Last of Us Part II
Personally, I think the Last of Us Part I is the greatest PS4 game of all time, the Second best being The Last of Us Part II. The Last of the series follows the gripping tale of Joel and Ellie navigating through the virus that hit America, killing roughly 60 percent of humanity. This storyline is gripping, emotional, and always keeps you at the edge of your seat. To any lucky fellas who haven’t come across this masterpiece, I’d suggest playing the last of us part 1 before moving on to part2. Both games were released for PS4 but are compatible with PS5 as well.
And the third : FIFA 21
EA in recent times has received a lot of criticism for their lack of creativity, especially in the FIFA series. FIFA versions, in my opinion, have steadily deteriorated in quality since 2015. Lack of improvement in Career Mode and Gameplay has left fans crestfallen. But, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. FIFA 21 on PS5 seems to have finally put the game back on track. The Cut-Scenes, especially during the Champions League games, are a treat to watch. Although PS4’s FIFA 21 is compatible with PS5, I’d suggest buying the PS5 version. The PS5 version contains improved graphics in terms of player faces, lighting. Furthermore, the gameplay has improved quite a bit.
That is it, folks, I think these PS4 games are worth playing on PS5.
