Dr. Daniel Rhoads, section head of microbiology at the Cleveland Clinic says, coronavirus went through a few mutations to create Delta Plus strain, primarily COVID-19 vaccines are mainly to produce antibodies in our body, that will trigger when our body is attacked by any spiked protein viruses, they recognize and fight against them. Even if the Delta Plus variant goes under several mutations, it must have spiked protein, as long as the mutations have these spiked proteins, the antibodies in our body take the charge and protect us against the coronavirus.
