Microsoft Forms can be utilized to gather participants’ responses; it provides real-time results as well as for analytics for the survey. Initially, Forms was only available on Office 365 Education, however, Microsoft made it available for Office 365 commercial customers also. Using Microsoft Forms, create surveys, quizzes, and polls can be created, and the results can be easily seen as they come in.
How to Start a new form for the web?
- Sign in to Microsoft Forms using your credentials/Microsoft account.
- Select +New Form.
- Title your form, if you require you could also add a description.
How to Add questions to Microsoft Forms?
- Click on +Add new to add a new question to your form.
- Choose the type of questions you want to add, for example, Choice, Text, Rating, or Date question types.
- Click on More question types, a Drop-down list will appear showing more question types for example Ranking, Liker, File upload, or Net Promoter Score® question types.
- To organize sections, click on Section.
How to Preview your Microsoft form?
- Click on Preview to see how your form will look on a computer/Mobile device, from a participant’s perspective.
- To test your form, answer questions in Preview mode, then click on Submit.
- To continue editing your form, click on Back.
How to Start a new form for OneDrive for work/school?
- Sign in to Microsoft 365 using your credentials.
- Click on +New > Forms for Excel.
- Enter a name for your form, then click on Create. A new tab will open.
How to Start a new form for Excel for the Web?
- Sign in to Microsoft 365 using your credentials.
- Open the Excel workbook where you want to insert a form.
- Click on Insert > Forms > +New Form.
- A new tab will open.
- Select the placeholder default title, then change it with your own. Add a description if needed.
