Restart and check for updates
Restarting your iPhone is one of the easiest fixes to fix the most common issues. First, you need to shut off your iPhone by navigating to Settings > General > Shut Down, then after your iPhone has fully powered off, press and hold the Power button (this is situated on the top or side of your phone) until the Apple logo reappears. After you restart the iPhone you may see that the Phone icon has reappeared.

You can use Search or Siri to find the missing icon

- You need to open Search by swiping down from the middle of the Home screen.
