Zoom is one of the top video conferencing applications presently available on the market. If you are working from home or if you need to have a meeting with a remote client, you need to have knowledge of how you can set up a Zoom meeting.
How can you Set Up a Zoom Meeting?
After you start Zoom, you will be provided with a few different options. Click on the “New Meeting” icon its orange colored to start a new meeting.
After you select, you will be in a virtual video conference room. At the bottom, click on “Invite.”
A new window appears, this will present various methods for inviting people. You’ll be in “Contacts” by default.
If you already have a list of contacts, you can select the person you want to contact, then click on “Invite” bottom in the bottom-right.
Or, you can select “Email”, then choose an email service to send the invitation.
When you select the service, you want to use, an email will appear with the different methods for the user to join the meeting. Enter the recipients in the “To” address bar, then click on “Send”.
If you want to invite someone via Slack or some other app, you can
(1) copy the invitation URL
(2) copy the invitation email to your clipboard, then share it directly.
After that, all you have to do is wait for the recipients of the invitation to join the call.
When you are ready to end the conference, you can do so by clicking on the “End Meeting” button.
