Do you want to share Apple Music Family Subscription, or your Apple One Family or Premier bundle? It could be a great way to save money while enjoying Apple’s vast catalog of streaming music content.
An individual Apple Music subscription would cost you around $9.99 per month. If you spend $14.99 instead, you get a family plan for yourself and up to five other users.
When you compare this to all six people buying their own Apple Music subscription, this results in an immediate saving of $44.95. Even if you have only one other user, shifting on to a family plan will save you $5.
What should you choose between Apple Music/Apple One?
The Apple One bundle also does save money; however, this saving must be under the right circumstances. It’s an issue of what else you use from Apple, also which bundle version you purchase.
For $14.95 per month, you get the Apple One Individual Plan, it does include Apple Music, however, this is only for one user/you. To reap the benefits of a family Apple Music subscription, you have to purchase the Family Plan, which costs $19.95 per month. You can also get the Premier one which costs $29.95
In either case, you have to buy based on what you will be using, or will use. You need to know what you’ll be getting with the Family Plan:
- Apple Music Family
- Apple TV+
- Apple Arcade
- 200GB iCloud storage
If you only care about sharing Apple Music, then the Apple One Family bundle is sadly not worth it. However, if you want to use the other services, it is more economic to buy the Apple One Family bundle.
It’s the same as the more expensive Apple One Premier bundle. However, the Apple One Premier bundle provides more, some of them being exclusive to this tier. Altogether, the Premier bundle has:
- Apple Music Family
- Apple TV+
- Apple Arcade
- 2TB iCloud storage
- Apple News+
- Apple Fitness+
Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+ that are exclusive Premier bundle elements. Those and the 2TB iCloud storage space, which can be shared, make the Premier bundle the best way to get Apple Music for everyone.
