Apple’s iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 won’t launch fully until later in 2021, but you don’t need to be a developer to test the beta right now. If you’re willing to risk encountering possible bugs in order to try out the new features, we’re going to walk you through the steps for installing the software. It’s a similar process for iPhone and iPad, but we’ve made separate sections for each OS. These betas will update periodically leading up to the final release. Judging from years past, that release should be around the end of summer.”
When installing iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, you should be aware that these are unfinished beta software releases, that may contain bugs. It’s possible that they will not contain all the promised features initially, from what we can see so far. Your experience with the released app could differ from others, depending on your usage of those apps.
What are the new features in IOS15?
Apple has released the new iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 public betas, with a number of great features to enjoy. The iMessage app now includes quick animations for your messages, making it easier than ever before to reply in real-time. You can also share what you’ve been listening to through Apple Music Connect within iMessage or as a video attachment- something that is not possible on older versions of iMessage (unless using third-party apps).
The Photos app now allows users to search by location – which makes it easy if you have many pictures from vacations all over the world! This builds upon previous updates, like Live Photo editing and Memories albums. It’s worth noting that this feature was already available in Google photos.
Updates to the iBooks app simplify book searches and give you access to your Kindle books. The App Store has been updated with a redesign, making it easier than ever before to find new apps in all categories – including games. You can also browse by top charts or see what’s trending! All of these updates are available for both iPhone and iPad users when testing iOS 15 in a public beta.

- To activate: Open Settings > Profile Downloaded > Select Public Beta> Restart to update.
What are the new features of the iPadOS 15?
The new features of iPadOS 15 are much more intuitive to navigate and experience than in the past. In previous releases, many apps were given the same layout with different colors or backgrounds. iPadOS 15 takes advantage of the entire screen space by making each app feel like its own separate entity rather than one large, hard-to-navigate window on your device’s home screen. The Folders function was also reworked with a cleaner look that is easier for users to manipulate their files and organize them within folders without feeling overwhelmed.
The ability to drag and drop files from one app to another is a significant upgrade as well. iPads have been praised for their multitouch features, but iPadOS 15 now allows you the opportunity of dragging items out of apps that are open on your screen with just two fingers.
In addition, iPadOS 15 also updated Siri’s functions by allowing users to search or ask questions through Siri in any application, instead of being limited to just being able to interact within Safari browser windows. This makes navigating smart home devices easier than ever before with voice commands like “Turn off my lamp.”
