There are many ways to find your iPhone but will you be surprised if we say you can use Siri for it. Well, phones have become an essential part of our lives, so much that we start panicking if they are out of our sight for even a minute, but if you are a privileged iPhone user, then there is no need to worry as you can do that by using iPhone’s voice assistance “Siri”. If you shout out “Hey Siri where are you” the application will start searching your phone. It also has the ability to ping your device so it becomes easier to find it without any hassle.
To initiate this feature, you’ll have to enable “Find my iPhone/iPad/Apple Watch” during Set-Up. After doing this you can go ahead and use Siri to find your device.
How to use Siri to find your iPhone
To initiate the Siri feature on your device speak out “find my device” where the ‘device’ can be any apple appliance such as iPhone/iPad/Apple Watch.
You might wonder, “what will I do if I have two same devices and one of them is lost” then Siri will ask you which of your device is to be found, this feature can also be used to find other apple appliances such as the devices of your dear ones. Suppose your friend misplaced their phone all you need to do is speak out “find friend name iPhone” and Siri will take care of the rest.
Once Siri finds your device it will ask you to play a sound from it, to initiate the ping select the option “yes”. The device will start to emit a recognizable sound which will help you find the device and can be disabled by manually switching it off after a specific period.
Well, this is the simplest way to find your iPhone, and if you are sure that you have misplaced your iPhone somewhere near you can shout “Hey Siri play a song” once the song starts you will be able to locate your mobile. This is the simplest way to find your apple device or even better “take care of your belongings” which is simpler than any online solution.
