Twitter has released fresh features as “Twitter Spaces”, which include – the ability to co-host to 2, up to 10 speakers to participate in an event on its audio rooms. These are expected to better help and manage, moderate conversations, to gain an upper hand on its Clubhouse competitor platform.
On Twitter for iOS and Android, anyone that is followed by you starts or speaks in Space, a notification appears on top of your timeline in the form of a purple bubble, as the long as it’s live. Mute all speakers at the same time and a new management update has been made to ease hosting.
Features of Twitter Spaces:
The Co-hosts and the users can invite speakers, manage requests, and remove participants, pin tweets, and a lot more. Twitter Spaces has provided an explanation for the long-gone Fleets bar, now being called the Space bar, and the company currently seems to be working towards bringing back the creation of Spaces to the previous Fleets.
Twitter has started rolling out new ways to share and discover spaces. A single tap will allow you to send a tweet with the link to that spaces in progress. Despite, it already being possible to share the link to open a Spaces before, it did require a few extra clicks. However, there are new features for Spaces users with the current update.
As per announcements guest management in Spaces has been enhanced with a separate section for current speakers, from those who have requested to speak. Controls for the participants have also been moved to the top so that they’re easily accessible. Some bugs on the Twitter Spaces platform have also been fixed. The company is also expected to launch a voice transformer feature with multiple voice effects such as Bee, Cartoon, Helium, Karaoke, Microphone, Phone, Spatial, Stadium, and Stage.
