France Vs Portugal ends in a 2-2 draw, Ronaldo and Benzema each get a brace
Cristiano Ronaldo scores twice from the spot to secure a draw for his side. This result took France to the top of Group F, giving them a favourable draw in the round of 16. Portugal on the other hand has finished 3rd, qualifying them to the round of 16 as one of the best third-place teams.

The world has gotten accustomed to the brilliance of Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar has scored his 109th international goal, equalling the record of Iranian marksman Ali Daei. It’s important to remember that Ronaldo is 36, and he is the top scorer of euro 2020!!! Something unheard of in any sport. Ronaldo will look to add another international trophy to his cabinet to his already glittering trophy collection.
Germany survive after a disappointing start to the tournament
Germany has sneaked through to the round of 16 after today’s results. They managed to secure a 2-2 draw against Hungary, finishing 2nd in their group. The Hungarians deserve praise for the effort they’ve put up. Nobody would’ve given Hungary any chance of qualifying, but they took the fight to France, Portugal and Germany and almost came out on top.
